SIP and XML grants an easy integration with IT applications:

In SAMIP platforms, SIP and IP protocols works with HTTP and XML protocols, two key standards for IP networks used for data exchange, and RTP protocol used for data streaming. XML is the most used standard for the recent SOA architecture (Services Oriented Architecture), therefore it’s almost mandatory for efficient integrations among IT and communication business applications. On the other side, IP protocol gives very high flexibility for appliances connection, enabling communications among traditional terminals and advanced terminals such as sip phones, wireless sip phones, PC or PDA softphones. This means a very large range of communication appliances which can work together covering almost all the customer reachability need.
