The Seltatel HIPnP WiFiServer is a compact intelligent gateway integrated with a four port V-LAN switch.
It is designed as an Access Controller for service providers, system integrators, hotspot operators and
companies looking to offer WiFI access to suppliers, contractors. to deploy a HOTSPOT service with
backend-RADIUS-Server.
The Seltatel HIPnP WiFiServer is an ideal solution for hotels, coffee shops, airports, conference facilities and other sites that commonly host business travellers, and offers instant high-speed Internet connections. With its IP Plug and Play technology, it accepts any client configuration for log-on. There's no need for the end-user to change any of their default network (Static IP), e-mail (SMTP Server behind firewall), or browser settings (HTTP Proxy) or load any special software to access Hotspot service. It's completely plug and play with any browser.

Seltatel HIPnP Account Generator Printer:
Combine the Seltatel HIPnP Account Generator Printer & the HIPnP server and operators can administer their Hotspot business by issuing tickets with unique one use access codes. The Hotspot operator can issue tickets of different durations which can be at different rates or complimentery. Because the operator has immediate access control the Hipnp printer & server provide an excellent solution for busy reception areas ie. hotel receptions, coffee shops etc.
The Hotspot venue owner just needs to press one button on Seltatel HIPnP Account Generator Printer and a one time account will be generated and printed-out immediately.
Seltatel’s HIPnP WiFi solution is based on standard technology, and in particular it is based on the use of HomePNA and Wireless 802.11 apparatus. The Seltatel HIPnP WiFiServer is equipped with 4 LAN Ethernet ports these allow users to connect additional Wireless Access Points to increase the overall coverage. Clients have the possibility to connect their PCs to the Internet without having to set up internet and IP network parameters (IP addresses, DHCP enabled, Gateway addresses and so on).
In this way the client’s PC continues to operate as if it were in its usual office. It is the HIPnP WiFi server which adapts itself in order to simulate the various IP network component (Gateway, DHCP, DNS, Proxy and so on) enabling the client to have internet access immediately and easily.

Your guests can request an account (with or without charges), which will be automatically
created by the operator. In this way they could have internet access in their rooms or in other hotel
public areas (for example,a conference room) without modifying their equipment settings
(e.g. Notebook, PDA, Smartphone, and so on).
Internet HIPnP service will not cause any conflict with their connections from office or home.
The internet access can be performed either via Ethernet or via Wi-Fi 802.116/g. It is also possible to add
access without registration to allow only hotel advertising or services.
The Internet PnP solution offers a cost effective way of implementing a broadband network by utilising the existing
telephone cable infrastructure for simultaneous voice and data transmission.
Solution architecture:
The Selta HIPnP solution is based upon different standards such as
HomePNA and Wireless 802.11. By means of SELTA HIPnP
WiFiServer ( equipped with 4 Ethernet LAN ports, Wi-Fi
802.116 g interface and Ethernet interface for connection to the
internet access device usually an ADSL modem), your guests
can connect their PCs to the hotel network without setting
the internet or IP network parameters (e.g. IP Address,
DHCP authorization, Gateway Address, and so on).
In this way, the authorization to the internet access will be
completely transparent to your guests. The “Session Trace?function
traces all web sites browsed by your guests during their internet connections.
HIPnP Switch and HIPnP Adapter supply your hotel with a data network using the PBX voice
infrastructure. HIPnP Switch takes the data transmission signal from the UTP connected to one port, and
sends it to the destination port. HIPnP Adapter must be installed in each room where the service will be provided. As for hotel public areas, the coverage is assured by the HIPnP WiFiServer Wireless Interface.
HIPnP Server is designed to also satisfy large size networks (up to 1000 users).
Advanced account management through Radius server, bandwidth management,
and integration with Property Management Systems (PMS) services are also available.
